Ok :thumright:

Have you plans for earlier in the day? I am planning to work around your schedule so we can meet with other members in the evening. I can arrange that we :D conclude the run with a meal stop here.. and then maybe stay for some music? It will only take about 30 mins to get back to your hotel from here, and as I am off work that week I will be able to make sure you get back safely! :D

The route is still under consideration, but it will be a good one!!

We'll arrive on 7th evening, and we would like to do some "standard tourism" visiting Dubling before the evening run.

Of course, any guide, help or suggestions about what to do/eat/drink in Dublin would be great!

Well, I went for a drive around the mountains this evening..it was brilliant..I think I may have met 2 cars in the space of 2 hours driving.

So, the route( subject to confirmation)

assemble at the car park in the Silken Thomas at Brown's Barn complex on the naas road

Travel via the city west estate to the blessington road, passing through Brittas and turning left into Manor Kilbride

Continuing on towards Lacken, taking the road around the lake.

From Lacken we head to Valleymount, veering off towards Hollywood.

from Hollywood, we head across the Wicklow Gap into Glendalough and on to Laragh.

We will take the old military road from Laragh towards Sallygap and on into Glencree

From Glencree we head to Glencullen and the famous Jonnie Foxes pub for refreshment. I shall check with the pub as to the restaurant times etc.. It may not suit everyone to stay for dinner, so we'll terminate the run at this point..the M50 is not far away from here so getting back home shouldn't be an issue.

I am open to suggestions if anyone would like to propose any alterations to the above

Meeting times will depend on the restaurant schedule..watch this space!!

I estimate the time from the meeting point to the restaurant to be about 2 hours?? ( allowing for the obligatory photo sessions)

Yeah, it's gonna be a 5pm meet with a 5:30 pm departure as we will need to get to the restaurant before last orders..I know it's an unusual time, some of you may need to make arrangements to get off work a little early,

Can all you guys text me your phone numbers please, my number is 087 2656053 , especially anyone planning on meeting up en route.

I'm in..if the ailing Little Red dies en-route, you can all give me your verdict and salute me as I wait for the pick-up truck (which only has to come from Ashbourne), and if she makes it.... you can all salute me and give me your verdict. Just remember to bring ear plugs! :bom:
