Hi all just about to have a bare metal spray on my 5, yipee !! I have done some research into soft tops and intend driving to Swansea, Wales via Rosslare in Feb/March to have mine replaced. Thanks to Frank by the way. At the moment the price is £260 for a Mohair roof fitted. I'm sure if there were a few going he would discount more but I think this is a very good price. Hey Padraig, I got mine there at Easter. Nice bloke. Workshop's hard to find but walking distance from the 'delights' of Swansea centre. I knocked him down a bit for cash. One point: Ring him a few hours B4 to confirm you're coming - although I'd booked the car in he'd just started a job when I arrived so had to wait ages. Simon

I'd prob just get one and fit it myself. Might be up for a spin over to collect though. May head on to parents place for a few days after. Keep us posted.

Its good to know someone Simon who has replaced a roof from this guy, thanks. Yeah Ash that would be great if it worked out that we could convoy to Swansea. Hope its not raining on the way over though....ah no the leaks aint that bad ! As soon as I get my 5 back after the respray I'll contact the guy and let you know.
