Cork Jazz 2009 - book accomodation now, avoid being fleeced

Postby franksm » Sun, 01 Feb 2009 4:49 +0000

Hey lads and ladies

Anyone interested in the Cork Jazz Festival this year ? Haven't seen the line-up yet, but I'm booking it now anyway. Travelodge rooms are e99 per night, which is very reasonable compared to the B&Bs there. You can cancel right up till noon on the day of arrival so no harm in thinking about it.

The Jazz Festival runs from 23-Oct to 26-Oct. I have booked a room for 23rd and 24th, leaving on the 25th.

Full line up not known until August. I've stayed at Travelodge in past, not great, too far out of City. Check out Booking.com for hotels eg. Jurys Hotel 312 Euros for 3 nights, Double Room,Good location, swimming pool, much better option. Wherever you stay, whoever is playing, you'll always have a great Craic at Cork Jazz. Enjoy.
