Ollie,
I have a mini-jack like yours and a couple of sets of spanners, I'll bring them along.
Shadow,
Ollie has a very good set of tools that he got in Halfords and they come with a lifetime guarantee. So I guesss Halfords would be a good place to look.

Nice offer DaStig, not sure I'd make it due to doing the NCT that evening.. Even if there is TEA and COFFEE the magic words... But best of luck would love to attend a tech day sometime soon.
Mmmm if anything changes I'll be straight up. Good luck!

Can set fire to most stuff... and a good rule of thumb a mate of mine uses.. "When it's brown it's cooked, when it black it's F**KED!"
Most of my camping is done in a half converted van not out of the back of my little car, but would love to get away for a weekend if I can swing it.. so much to do so little time.

Hi,
Ok, all looks good for the tech day here @ my place. I'm away in the AM till noon but will be back by then, so if you want to start dropping by from 1.30ish, thats cool.
I've got 4 axle stands - can someone bring more as i think we'll have 2 cars up on then, Toms and Ann's. 1 more jack too please. Another socket set too please. PJ, don't forget that copper grease you mentioned please. For anyone new, ask me to show you the drain holes on your 5, I cleared mine today and its good to keep them clear due to those recent downpours. I'll pm ye all directions by Friday evening.
Rgds,
O.

Hi John,
Your good wishes for a good day on Saturday seem to have worked. The latest forecast is telling us it'll be the best day of the week. Enjoy the Sangria.
Ollie,
I picked up a set of axel stands in Lidl yesterday, €10, and I'll also bring a jack.
I'll make telephone contact on Saturday a.m. for directions.
Tom
