No problem Pat. This is the state of play now; (1) Cashel MX5 (Tom) (2) Teena and co-pilot (Staying in Cashel Sat. night) (3) JohnV (I hope) (4) aquarian5 (possible meet-up en-route) (5) 83ste (6) MazFan (Possibly staying in Cashel Sat. night) (7) Ash (possible meet-up en-route) Everyone else is welcome so in case there are any last minute decisions to come, here are the details. All going well, we will leave from Mother Hubbards, Cashel at 11 ish but going on past experience this could be 12 For those coming either down or up the M8, come off at Cashel junction 9 and head for town, go through the Cahir Road roundabout (landmark, Alza/Cordis factory entrance) and approx. 250 mtrs from there you'll see Mother Hubbards on the left. See you tomorrow, Saturday. Tom

Anyone thinking about the Triple Crown match - we will be back in Cashel in plenty of time for the kick-off and , with Cashel's connections on the team, there's no shortage of places with plenty of atmosphere.
See ya'll tomorrow.

OMG am I the first to post? Well there's so much more to come, but just a quick taster then. Trust three journalists to find a story in the wilds of the Tipperary Mountains.....Suffice to say that a man called Pat beat one MX5 on to the back of a lo-loader with a hurley, around 5o'clock this evening! I can't load up photos from the iPhone here, but as soon as I can, I promise shots of the most incredible day's driving that I've enjoyed - ever!

Hi Teena, Typical me, just checking in before headinng to the leaba - 12:45 Well I did promise the and plenty of very good bends on the mountain roads of Tipperary, and I'm glad to say we got both. Disappointingly, there were only three of us to enjoy the day but that didn't take from a great days drive. So thanks to Teena and Stephen for turning up. As for the hurley story, I'll leave that for Teena to report but it's amazing that it would happen just twenty yards inside the Premier county - the home of hurling. Sufffice to say that we had a mishap and had to rely on a hurley to help load a car onto a trailer. Work that one out Glad to hear you got home Stephen., with the car Tried to load some photo's but files too big so due to the late hour I'll have a go later in the day, Sunday. It will be late rather than early as I'm off up one of the mountains in the morning, this time on foot.

Pascal, I have only a few photo's, while Stephen took a lot more and Teena also took some. Unfortunateliy, Teena's mum passed away so I don't expect her to be on her but Stephen, if your over your ordeal of last Saturday you might manage to post a few. Anyway here's a couple more - I hope The Knockmealdowns Seeking Devine inspiration at Mount Mellery View from the Vee Teena gets a wash and blow-dry before the off

Hi guys and gals. It was a great day alright full of sunshine and stunning scenery; and when we'd spun around the country and scaled the peaks on four wheels, I got a chance to do it all again on foot with Tom and his mountain climbing friends on day 2. Hope the link works! http://pbckt.com/sZ.dTpr

Hey guys, just getting to post pics now. Great day out indeed, up until the point I took my camera out of the boot to take a snap and ended up locking the keys in there!!! Not used to the lack of a remote boot release as my other car has one. It could have been a lot worse, I suppose – as luck would have it where we were stopped a local mechanic was also pulled in, flying his remote-control glider. Being the local mechanic, he knew who the local recovery guy was and had his number to hand. A short while later, Opel Frontera + Brian James trailer in tow rolls up and the epic struggle to manhandle the car onto the trailer with steering lock on ensued. With the help of jacks, dolly wheels and a hurley, it was eventually loaded up and the chap brought me to the centre of Clonmel where my Dad was able to meet me with a spare key from home... eventful day to say the least! Teena, very sorry to hear your mum passed away only the next day. Deepest condolences... Onto the pics anyway, this is a selection, the full set can be found here: http://public.fotki.com/serrity/2010/mx5tipp/
