I really can't see anyone making it that early tho!

Shena

EDIT:- looks like it's a 9am earliest start now .. Frank .. you gonna make it?

We can also eat burgers !

What a class day ! Strangest tech-day ever what with the lack of tech going on ;-) Although we did get a couple of bonnets open: "these are pipes. And the thinner things are wires. That, I don't know what that does but it leaks oil".

Great to see everybody - I got back at 8pm, made good time. Face is nicely burned now. 289 miles, top-down

Absolutly fantastic day, as Frank said the only tech thing done today was cooking the burgers on the BBQ.

13 fivers showed up, all cars gleeming (well to start with anyhow!)

Thanks to Mike for a fantastic day, first of all he arranged to position his house to ensure that his yard was a sun trap from about 12.00.

The BBQ was excellent, great craic was had and we still had a run to do; and what a run! Lovely scenery, water, boats, bridges etc. Could ask for no more, great interest in the cars everywhere we went.

Thanks again Mike for such a great day. Back home now, sunburnt and tired and covered in dust.

Gosh what a gigglefest... brilliant day. Great friends, great views, great weather, great host.

Thanks for the belly laughs, which Shena assures me were as loud as Frank's turbo! Sorry we missed you lad, we got back around 8 too, so we must have hit the road around the same time and could have convoyed. We looked around for you but couldn't find you, as we ducked and dived under the tv for the door!

Lots of crispy bits about the edges too... they'll think we spent the weekend in St Tropez. Looking forward to meeting up with everyone again soon. xx Teena & Kerry.

It's already been said by Teena, Frank and Pascal -"What a Day".

Great BBQ Brunch, un bathing and top down driving around Lough Derg with some vies to die for. Plent of hairpin bends and a smathering of dust off a blinking truck - but that was a bonus as we finally saw Ann do some work on her car  Then it was back to a nice little bar in Ballina for the game and another great result - and not one by the skin of the teeth Shena  Mumhan Abú

Thanks to everyone for the great company and to John and Eoin for their help with the only bit of tech work done on the day - getting rid of the jingle bells in my car. Whoeee! no more ringing in my ears - great.

Finally, thanks to Mike for the hospitality, great location and drive.

Tom

BIG thanks to Mike for organising this tech/run day, it was a brilliant day. :alien:

Great to see 13 gleaming cars in the sunshine again, its been awhile. Seeing mx5s in convoy created a good bit of interest along the run, twas great fun indeed.

Had to have a few pints of Guinness last night to get the taste of dust out of my mouth after some of those back roads yesterday.

Thanks to everyone for turning up it was great craic.

Mike those burgers were fantastic  , thanks again..

See you all at the Galway run in May. :alien: :alien:

I don't even know where to start to describe the day and what easy going craic we had all day. John, your right I'm convinced Mike is some kind of Indian Witch doctor to have conjured up such an amazing day. His hospitality was out of this world and thank-you just doesn't seem to cut it.

But I'll try THANKS Mike .. you are one in a million.

Will and I had a blast out with the gang last night and Tom, you'll be happy to know we took advantage of the happy crowd last night and raised nearly €250 for SOI.

I've only just made it up after crawling home this morning. Will had to take over the driving as I was far to delicate to make it all the way home. My head my head! :?

So a couple of my iphone efforts ..
