You queried elsewhere about doing the sallygap etc...unfortunately the bad weather has rendered this area totally inaccessible. Enjoy your trip, hope the weather improves!!

Hi Alan, sorry i missed you at the hotel. :(

I think i saw you while i was on my way back to the hotel, were you in a red MK1??

The weather was wet and cold while on the Kerry run, but it did get better towards the end of the week. 8)
We stayed on and went to visit the wifes relatives while we were there.

Went down to Cork, on the motorway, it was the quickest way to get there and back to Tipperary in the day
Went up to see the Cliffs of Moher, more relatives a bit further up on the coast road

Some very good roads and some not.... my exhaust is blowing now, need to have a look at that tomorrow.

Really enjoyed the trip, met some friendly people, hope its not too long before we can make it back again.

Didnt see many MX5's along the way, about 5 in total, are they not popular..

Hi Snowman

That was me alright. I would have stayed around longer but I had to get the young lad home. You'll have to come back sometime and do Kerry in the sun, Whenever that'll happen!!

We might see you in Wales sometime.

Alan

Oh I wouldn't say that...it's just that with the current crap weather a lot of owners are probably happy to leave their cars under wraps...I hope you had a good trip. What a pity about the cold spell.......

Yes it was cold, but we managed to get the hoods down everyday...

When we did the ring of Kerry it was a wet day and only managed to get the hoods down for about an hour or so.

We did get a lot of strange looks from other car users, cant think why....

Hi john, the MK2 was the guy who organized the trip..

We did get the sun but it started to get better after the rest of the group had gone home. :D
