Well, here it is, 7am on Tuesday morning, the day after..and the sun is splitting the stones ( well , not really, but the sky is perfectly clear)...this kinda weather would have really topped it off yesterday..anyhow, back to normality, work is calling!!!

Ah Shite, got to abbeyleix yesterday, 10k form the meeting point and all of a sudden I was driving a massey ferguson, down pipe from the turbo cracked mid pipe and separated. lots of fun getting home as starting off especially on an incline with no back pressure was very challenging to say the least, to top it off I was loosing servo also so had to keep pumping the clutch and brakes to keep them firm. Made it back to aughrim (80k) without needing a tow, did get some funny looks though.

Thanks to Paschal and everyone who helped make the day a reality. Fantastic mix of cars and characters, really enjoyed meeting you all and hope to see you all at the next meet. A few people I didn't get a chance to chat on the day, but next time hopefully. Well done to all who travelled a long way to take part, such as all the people from the north. I'll be attending a few shows up there, if your cars are anything to go by, it'll be amazing. Dying to see and hear so vids from the day, anyone get any? The sound of Rhys' and Nico's cars will be stuck in my brain for a long time, mental cars and sound lads too.
Thanks to Paschal, Steve and Ollie for their help getting me off the motorway, fingers crossed the car will be back in action soon.

Thanks everyone for this great day out! Flawless organisation,it was really nice to gather everyone, to see the ones I already knew and get to meet new fellow enthusiasts. I also regret to not have been able to chat more with everyone, which means we have to do this again I have a few "diaporama" pictures (PM me your email if you want them in higher resolution) Nico

Thanks Paschal/John/Alan etc for a great run. Glad I was able to drag the number up if only for a couple of hours.
Thanks for the fun drive back to the 2 lads from "up North" hope to see you both soon.
Take care y'all and safe driving until we all meet up again

Fez, footage wasn't amazing. A lot of wind noise. Typically managed to fix the external mic issues just today! I'll have to chop a bit of footage of of the load that I have but it'll probably be after I get back:(

Mx5 NI are running a Classic & Sportscar show at the Lisburn Rugby Club on Sat 28th June. The show starts at 10am and finishes about 6. There is a BBQ for a small fee for anybody staying after the show and camping is available on site. On Sun 29th there is a run organised touring the Mournes. We went to the show on the Sat last year but were not able to stay overnight. I have booked into a Premier Inn which is located just up the road from the show/camp site. £35 per room . Bring your own beverage. There were notices for this show put on cars in Portlaoise on Monday

Will have to see if herself will come along to this as my navigator. How long did it take you to get back home?
