soft top window has no rain rail!!!!

can anybody help me out with my 97 soft top mx5. just bought it recently and rain is getting into the boot and the inside of the car. the window panel is a different colour to the roof and so has been replaced, id say the rain rail was not put back properly. will someone do it for me please (i'll pay for it) as i havent a clue how to do it? im near wexford. 086 3616764

Fiana, it's possible that the rail is damaged or indeed missing, could be that it simply is blocked and needs to be cleaned out. The only way to find out is to strip the area around the parcel shelf and along the rail itself. Unfortunately I'm not near you but someone else might be able to assist.
I'd have a look if you were prepared to travel to Newbridge at some stage??
