Hard top

Hi

MX5 I've just bought came with a hardtop (no softop though...). It's secured by the 4 catches inside but there no brackets on the rear to attach to the frankenbolts. Is this normal?

Roof feels secure and leak proof and cars being broke eventualy so I won't be needing it but if I do sell the hardtop on I want to make sure I'm not selling a lemon.

I have 2 hardtops on my cars and dont use the rear latches at all and never had a problem

are you bolting the rear part of the hardtop to the deck, or using just the front clasps on the hardtop?? I would have thought that only using two of the six fixing points is asking for trouble between security and weathering issues..no?
