locked out of the boot

Hi im locked out of the boot on my mk2. About 3 days ago i broke the linkage coming from the key lock to the boot lock on the car but was using the cable from inside the car to open it but now this has stopped working. Anybody know a way around it?

you can pop one of the metal grommets in the boot floor and put your arm in but stick grommet back down afterwards or try rooting behind the bumper from underneath between bumper and back panel

I tried the grommets in the boot but the spare wheel is in the way

Do you know where in the boot they are? Do think you could fish them out from the boot through the "tunnel" at the side of the fuel tank?
Remove carpet from rear deck and then the light metal covers from the driver's side to see the "tunnel"

I dunno gonna try that later on see if i can get in if not i might bore a hole behind the number plate
