Disconnect wires and 02 Sensor

Hi please can i have some advice from some of you experienced people re the 02 sensor and a disconnected wire my mk 1 mx5 sown in the images below if i have
linked them properly.

This is a picture of the o2 sensor in my car which was disconnected when i got it. Is there somewhere it plugs in or should i cut off the connector and join it to another wire.



This wire is also disconneted I suspect it may be the 02 sensor wire from the ecu , would I be right?

O2 sensors are either 2 wire or 4 wire (4 wire are better/newer), which one is yours Tom ?

I'm not sure. The top picture above is the plug on the end of my o2 sensor, I was over with autocheck last evening and he showed me some proper 02 sensors but the connectors looked nothing like mine.
