Yeah, for my sins ive been a crewmember in Clogher Head for 16 years and been blessed to end up working for them for the last 10. great job , meet great people and hopefully save a few more lives in the meantime.

16years did you start on one of the row boats? :lol:

On the Courtown crew myself a little small boat, but up for it! Only about 7ish years at it myself. Keep up the good work up there anyway.

ah i know a few down there alright, Finton, Helena, Aine and a few more that we met on the Shannon doing the SRT re-cert.Started on one of the old Oakley Class wooden Boats before we got the Mersey in 93 . Great boat.Was in Wexford on-call for the capsize. Brought a relief IB1 and engine down.

All good friend sail with them as well... the wex thing was training the went wrong. Unluck at the time, while VERY lucky on the other hand. I think the still working with the relief boat down there.


It's always nice to have contacts around the coast... :wink:
