Hi,

After 6.5 years my old (wet) battery's fading fast so I got a new gel battery from MX5Parts. With it is a leaflet advising me to trickle charge it every winter for 2-3 days. Needless to say I'm a) unimpressed to red this only after I bought it & b) unlikely to comply.

Anyone care to give their thoughts?

Haven't ever trickle charged the one in my car and have only replaced it once in 10 years (jeez.. 10 years.. )
