broken immobiliser

My immobilizer has just suddenly stopped and I cant start the car....... Usually it flashes intermittently but now nothing........ checked fuses and obvious things. It was installed before I bought it so I don't even know the brand...... PLEASE HELP

Find the diagnosis connector box on passenger side under bonnet, i think its clearly labelled. Open it and connect a jumper wire or an opened out paper clip between terminals F/P and GND. Connections are labelled under the lid. This may bypass your immobiliser to get you home. Dont leave it like this tho.
If you can find the immobiliser, follow all the wires from it to see if you can "unwire" it . Some cheap installations just cut wires and/or use scotchlock connectors which are easy to follow.
Same thing happened to me with a Dealer fitted unit on a Civic VTI a few years back and i had no choice but to pull it out.
