Guys, there is a vertical "brace" at the rear of the radio console, seems to be not attached to anything at the top. My problem is that it is actually preventing me from installing the cb radio into a din adapter as the aerial connector is directly in line with this "brace", thus preventing the cb from sitting flush on fitting. Question is, if I remove this am I creating further issues????

Not sure if it was originally for a ground or to stop the radio flopping about..

Yep, took it out anyway..cb fits fine now Sure if any problem arises in the future I'll sort it out then
