Airbag flash codes

Postby MX5Spares » Tue, 18 Jun 2013 8:01 +0000

94 UK mx5 ,airbag light flash code .One long pause --flash---3 short flashes----pause .Looking at sites etc seems people are reading this sequence differently...I see it as;;;; 1 Flash ---long pause----3 flashes with short pauses ---and they cycle begins again. Any info out there please as I dont want to have to remove the full dash unneccessarily to access the airbag module ecu which is directly under the centre of the windscreen behind the dash but up really high at top of dash.Big job

Not to sure but assuming its a sensor for the air bag. There are 3. he code seems to mean d-sensor ON. So its possible its just a dodgy connection or something.
