timing belt question

Hi All,
does anyone know when the timign belt should be changed on the mk1. my car has 68,000 miles (full history) so just wondering if the belt has not been done yet ( i have not gone through all the history yet) at what mileage should it be changed, and further more, as the car sat stored for 6 years does this impact in anyway (corrosion etc?)

Belt really shuuld be changed at 60k or 5 years .Also waterpump needs to be changed as its basically under the timing belt.The full job incl t belt/pulleys/waterpump and coolant is 300e if we were to do it.086 8226506.Aircon gas may be extra if lost/fitted ??
