MK2.5 Window Regulator

Recently the window doesnt go up or down, but the window can be pushed up and down.
When you flick the electric switch, it makes a noise as if the regulator is going up and down as normal.
I had the car in for some work yesterday and my mechanic said the whole regulator will need to be replaced.
A new regulator is 120euro on MX5Parts.co.uk...
Anyone recommend a garage to do it for cheaper or had any experience with electric windows on a mk2...?
