Fuel Cap doesn't open with lever

Fuel lever in centre console doesn't move to release the fuel cap. Fuel cap can only be opened by pulling the cable in the boot just beside the fuel cap so everytime i want to refule I have to open the boot and pull the cable. Is this an issue with the cable or the lever? Bought it that way but not sure if this is a big job to fix?

Check that it is still connected to cable in behind the centre console and that it is pulling at hte fuel cap end.We have cable if your in need of one.Its unlikely its snapped as such but possible.086 8226506
