rattling glove box

any fixes to stop the annoying rattle?

i have the same problem I thought it was the hinges so i put a small piece of rubber to act as awasher between the hinge and the dash, but it still creaked at the lock, i wrapped insulating tape around the catch on the dash, IT STILL CREAKS, I've given up I think its in the lock itself........... :oops:

seems a lot of weight in the glovebox stops it for some reason... there could be a fix on the way! ;)

I now drive with 4 kilos of lead in it..........

I bought a roll of draft-strip (the foamy stuff) and that has solved it for me.
