Rear Window smashed

Postby eoghanup » Mon, 02 Feb 2015 11:11 +0000

Hi lads, I am new to the forum as I recently bought a mk1 mx5. I love it already! however.... the car has a fairly new aftermarket black mohair soft top which has (had) a heated glass window. I say had because I must not have clipped the soft top in properly and it flew back whilst I was driving smashing the window. This top doesn't have any of the zips i'm reading about. any suggestions what my best option would be?? i'm gutted

We have spare glass rear window but I am not sure as to fitting it as its usually bonded/stiched in but I am sure it could be fitted afterwards ,from inside only ,and reglue it.Other than that its new or secondhand soft top you need.ph no 086 8226506

Thanks for the reply. yeah the glass is glued into a rubber surround which is stitched to the cloth. Do you have soft tops for sale?
