Tie rod end plastic cap

Less of a how do, but more of a should I. I got 2 Blue print tie rod ends and they come with plastic caps over the ball joint, probably a stupid question but I take these off before fitting ya? I've just never seen caps before.

Yes, you should take them off. They're protective plastic caps for ball joint, rubber while handling.
