The one relay contained in the kit must be for something else:

Disconnect everything and start again. It would be easier for testing if you had a battery on a bench and the control box and solenoids out of the car.
On the main wiring loom there is a connector block with 9 wires, plug it in to the control box, connect the white, brown, blue, and the green wires to the corresponding wires on the main solenoid, connect the last wire coming out from the solenoid (possibly a black wire) to earth. Now, on the main loom connect the red wire to constant live( through a fuse if there isn't one anywhere else) . Now connect the black wire to earth. Try locking it now, if it works, connect the second solenoid to the same wires that go to the main solenoid (same colour to same colour) now try the remote. Hopefully It should work now.
If it works all that's left is plugging in the alarm etc, if it doesn't work it might be best to return it if possible

There's one other thing, the antenna/receiver for the fob !. It may be built into the control box but it might be one of the wires not yet connected so just plug in the rest of the connector blocks without connecting the wires to anything
