door speakers blown

Postby aaron eunos » Wed, 05 Feb 2014 3:20 +0000

hi guys

went out to my eunos the other day and started the car turned on the radio but no sound only 1 speaker worked anyway, on further inspection it turns out the connecter for the speaker has gotten wet and the speakers no long work, can any one recommend a set of direct replacement speakers that won't cost a fortune. I'm pretty sure the head unit is fine as it powers p and the aerial goes up and down and reads cd.

also another question if i was to change my head unit down along the lines would there be any way of keeping the speakers in the seats working as i love the idea of them

the head unit i have at the minute and it can control the speakers or sub in the seat also works as nice back massager haha

I shoehorned a set of 4 x 6 jbl speakers in mine. Makes some difference when driving with the top down. As the speakers are so close to you, you dont need to blast the radio to hear it and go arround like a yob blaring the stereo.

2 sets of 4 inch speakers is all you need. Left and right speaker for each seat.
