MX5 with hardtop for sale

Postby jen » Mon, 30 Mar 2009 4:27 +0000

I have an 01 MX-5 for sale, need to sell it within the next month. It's in nearly new condition with 35K miles (with paperwork to prove), its got every extra leather heated seats, silver roll bars, you name it it's there. Most importantly it has an almost new and barely used mazada hardtop (bought Oct 07).
To have a closer look follow the link, you will not be dissappointed.

Lovely Mk2.5 Jen.
I think you might struggle a bit to sell it.
e.g. I bought my Mar-2000 MK2 in Oct-2006 for 9,750 jojo

Yes nice car but the price is a bit high.
You can get a Mk3 for near enough that kind of money now
and i've seen porsche boxsters year 2000 go for the same money.

Good luck with the sale

Jen,

Lovely Car!
Truely delish......

But you got to revise your pricing if you want to sell it - there's no getting away from the fact you have it wayyyyyyyyyyy over valued.

Lovely car, had spotted it earlier on Car zone, lots of expensive extras. I bought my 01 Mark 2.5 (1.6 with 40,000 miles) in Oct 08 for €7.3k and that was too dear at the time! Probably "worth" the asking price, but the car trade is on its knees at the moment, if you need a quick sale you will need to reduce price. Not sure if there is a strong market out there for the MX5 at the moment, some of the cars that were on Car Zone back in Sept when I was looking are still there, so thats not a good sign. Best of luck, all you need is one buyer who wants it!
