94 Roadster for sale

Postby arnoldblackanddecker » Wed, 07 Sep 2011 6:56 +0000

Regrettably having to put this up for sell, I regretted selling my first one, and I'm sure the same with this. Starting a new business which will involve lugging around 200kg+ of kettlebells, and this just won't do it. If I could afford to keep this I would. Currently prepping it for NCT as it needs a new centre pipe and nearside droplink, as NCT has just expired. Posting to see what interest there may be.

NA8C Roadster (1.8)
Mazdaspeed Manifold and exhaust
ARC Chamber air system
KYB Adjustable Shocks
Carbing Roll Cage
Rare ATS cup 15" wheels

The good: Super looking car and fun to drive, turns heads everywhere it goes. Bodywork is in great condition as per photos, engine and gearbox are really tight.

Badpoints:
As above, currently prepping for NTC so these bits will be sorted before sale.
This car is quite low and stiff, I guess it would be ideal for someone doing the odd trackday due to suspension and cage, please do not expect this to be as comfortable as a standard roadster. I have never taken it to the track.
The rear boot lid has faded a bit, I'd guess the previous owner replaced it at some stage.
2 small patches on the hardtop, that's as honest a description as I can give.
As with most of the tan interiors, the dash has the usual fading compared to the door cards.

I may consider selling the wheels and hardtop separately if I can pick up a cheap set of daisies to lower the overall price of the car...but looking for 3500euro all in.

nice car Colin, shame you have to let one go again after all the hard work.

I will have another, maybe i'll try an NB into the future.

Out of interest, what are people's thoughts on the price? It's probably on the upper scale but maybe selling the hardtop/wheels etc. might bring it down to 2500e or so?

The thoughts of 'donedealing' this are making me queezy, but i'll stick it up there after the NCT.

Good looking car! I am in the market at the moment, looking for a red NA. The rims are a bit out there for my taste. There may be more like me, so splitting up for selling may be better. As well, black hardtops are good with more cars, so shouldn't be too hard to get rid of alone. I think the car, a set of original rims and with hardtop would be a nice package to start off with. Then split the hardtop if needed later. Good luck with the sale.

Hi Rick, Ive since sold the wheels to another member and put this back on original wheels, so I'm actually selling for a bit less, significantly less if you want to put it through the NCT yourself. (I'm currently working from 6am - 10pm some nights, so it's purely been a matter of time) PM me if you want more details. I've also taxed it until the end of January.

Ok, I've a replacement lined up for this now :(

I'm dropping the price to 2500euro as it stands. Still don't want to part it out, but if a buyer wanted to do so. (Selling hardtop and cage) this would make for a hell of a cheap solid 5.

Hows it going. If you were to sell the hard top what price would you be thinking? Thanks

Hey MickyB, I don't think I'm in a position to sell it to be honest, I've picked up a replacement and switched the insurance over, so I have this down in the underground carpark. The hardtop just gives me that little extra piece of mind in terms of security, and the option for a buyer to sell on if they want.
