Im going to go down a different route for the track car I hope to build, I'm going to use a different engine than the 1.8s I have so I'm going to sell the few bits I have to fund it some bit, I have a performance manifold that came off a 1.8 rs and the performance manifold that came off my 1.6 (which made a big difference to the car but as I'm going with a turbo I won't need it) its still heat wrapped too but will need a small bit of welding (your man fitting the turbo cut the end of it off where it connects to the decat) you could use the end of your old manifold to weld onto it if interested, I also have a lightweight flywheel from the rs, a few body panels, alloys and the 1.8 engines and gearboxes
1.8 manifold: €200
1.6 manifold: €240
Lightweight flywheel: €150
1.8 engines: €250 each or €400 for both
Gearboxes: €100 each
Il take best offers on everything but want to try and get as close to asking price if possibly, il get pics up soon too

what different route, I'm going to go supercharged with a TR Lane kit.
I'd like that 1.6 mani, but don't know if it will fit under a charger

I'm going to try and go rotary power, your man doing my mk1 turbo has some nice ideas for building it, I know it might not be as reliable but I won't have it out on a track that many times in the year anyway, plus it's a really light engine

I think so plus he wants to be the first person to build a peripheral port rx8 engine into a track car here and he likes the mx5s because their so light and easy to make even lighter plus handle great, he said with the peripheral port it should rev to 14000 rpm and sound unreal

, I'm looking at an rx8 next week that I fella is buying to fit an sr20 into which will hopefully leave me with a nice rx8 engine and 6 speed gearbox, il hopefully be able to sell a few of the other bits though cause I don't think its going to be very cheap

I'm not sure, its at the home place so I can't weigh it but its the lightweight one that comes in an rs, that's what it came off anyway

would you have pics of them?
thanks

Both engines were running, one was perfect and the other was a little tapaty, everything is on both engines, inlet/manifold exhaust, etc. il take pics when I'm home again, probably next weekend
