MX5Ireland

Hey guys,

I have decided to move on my mx5, just too cramped for me for long drives (I do two 115 mile journeys a week on top of the usual short daily driving). I am really sad to be doing this, I love the car. I never thought an mx5 would be such awesome fun! (this was my first mx5) I got a Bmw M3 to replace it and that car is not near as much fun to drive (it is just terrifying in a bad way! not a predicatble car like the mx5).

Anyway I gave this car a lot a TLC and put in alot of hours cleaning, polishing and paiting little bits and pieces. This is now the cleanest car I have had and I know I will regret this sale some day - Just wish there was a bit more head and leg room in it.

Looks well, you'd be better-off taking it out of the Vintage Cars section though & putting it in the normal 'cars' section if you want to get more exposure - was looking for 5s myself not too long ago & I'd never think to look there unless I was after a MK1.

Putting the car in the vintage section was old habit, anything I have owned until now was over 20 years old so I have always bought and sold in this section. I must put an advert under normal cars.

As for the hardtop, I would rather sell the lot together. The softop for the car needs to be replaced, dont think I would sell it too quick with no roof! I have had a lot of offers on the hardtop, but people dont realise it is standing me quite alot of money considering the spoiler and the rain gutters.

Would you have any interest in an mx6? I've mine up for sale at the moment, and I've been thinking about getting an mx5 lately.
