Postby jpo » Mon, 04 Jan 2016 3:36 +0000

Mazda MX-5 (MX5) NC1/MK3 2L VVT LF-VE Engine + flywheel + clutch + Airbox + AFM from late 2006 Sport model with ~93K Miles on it including every ancillary in pictures (no ECU).

Fits 2005-2014 MK3/NC1, MK3.5/NC2, MK3.75/NC3 2L MX-5

Engine removed working with slight bottom-end rattle under moderate load so it was stopped & removed from car to prevent damage.

Engine sold as a complete package only & going concern with all ancillaries in perfect working order before removal. Clutch is included & has lots of life left in it.

€200 collected for everything attached to the engine in the photos given current condition.
Please note: collection only due to size, weight & packaging required to ship.

PM me here or call anytime at weekends or after 5pm weekdays - calls preferred to texts.
No 'best price' calls or lowball offers - price reflects item & condition - negotiations in person only.

Number & pics are in this ad: https://www.donedeal.ie/carparts-for-sa ... k/11194975

700 yo yo's for an engine with a wrecked bottom end? Is it not the same basic engine that's in a mondeo ?

Not wrecked, but certainly needs attention sooner rather than later. That I'm not sure about but if you can find one, add the price of a new crank (if it even came to that) + shells all-round + the most expensive labour you know of & find one anywhere near the price in total please show me & I'll happily adjust. ;)

Prices updated to clear - make me an offer especially if you want to take the engine, 6-speed gearbox, diff, exhaust etc: the worst I'll do is say no. ;)

Price drop to free up some space - €300 takes it away.

I believe its the same 6 speed as the RX8 with a different bell housing. Could be wrong though google has failed me before.

Mk3 owners don't 'hang out' and your selling scrap metal, I'm sorry for saying it but somebody had to as this post is from last January.

If anyone would like to offer a constructive opinion on where I might find a group of MK3 owners to see if it would be of any interest (block or ancillaries) to them please post up. :)

Offers welcome.

There's a few groups over on FaceBook, here's one of them with over 160 members that I'm in. https://www.facebook.com/groups/701339086660911/
Hope that helps.
