We have arranged contract with Powder coating company to do all our suspension, cross members, anti roll bars, etc etc all mx5 bits only.We can supply them parts for powder coating and then exchange them for your old parts when suits.Deposit will be required in some cases.

Or we can supply/fit the newly powder coated parts etc

Takes approx 2 weeks to have powder coating completed as provider is very busy etc

Or we can supply fully refurbed front or rear "axle" incl subframes, 4 wishbones, new top and bottom balljoints ,antiroll bar, fully assembled and ready to fit to your car 500e approx per axle.Great value .

Obviously "NO ITEMS WITH BEARINGS" , can be blasted/power coated but speak to us firstly, thanks

Thinking about doing the wheels, can the lips be polished and the whole rim (gold spokes and the lips) be powder coated

The whole thing can be powder coated but I advise against polishing the lip as ,without lacquer, lip will tarnish and if lacquered without primer, lacquer will fall of eventually as it wont really bond to shiny surface. This is same for all alloys ,thats why powder coating is better job really.I know the polished lip can be nice but not really do-able afterwards.I to have set same BBS alloys to get refurbed but think i will fully powder coat also.Check around as I am no expert on painting services etc.Other lads on here will have previous experience will wheel polishing

I think some UK lads polish the lip and use bee,s wax etc to protect but needs constant protection and brake dust etc will eat at rim.

Thanks, I don’t really know what to do with them, I sanded the lips and repainted the spokes and then lacquered the whole wheel last year, the gold bits are still ok but the lips are looking poor.

Yes, as I said its near impossible to get lacquer to stick to shiny alloy.Best just to polish the alloy lip and keep it clean/protected with wax etc.Lots of wax.....
