The Montana was a special edition for the UK market, based on a standard model 1800cc Mazda MX-5 NB, with a choice of two body colours, Garnet Red and Racing Green.
A total of 500 units were available after October 2002 and would cost you £18,995.00 to buy new. 250 units were available in Garnet Red and 250 in Racing Green.
This special edition sported a mohair soft top, 15" alloy wheels, low profile tyres and locking wheel nuts. Further enhancements included front fog lamps and a colour coded detachable hardtop.
The interior featured heated seats trimmed in tan leather with a matching tan carpet. A wooden steering wheel was also fitted along with a wooden hand brake grip and gear knob. Further enhancements included wood effect dash trims for the centre console with chrome inner door handles and speaker grilles. The MX5 Montana was sold in 2002 & 2003.
