93 1.6 eunos roadster sealed headlight....

Postby davedave » Sun, 15 Jan 2012 9:42 +0000

hello, im dave and my lady recently got a eunos roadster. its going like a dream but the front right headlight has an intermittent problem. it works if you give it a slap but the high beam works as it normal. i have changed the bulbs on an mx5 before b ut this one is sealed. 3 q's ; can unsealed units be put in instead for ease of bulb change? would a pair of sealed units cost an arm and leg? and three i got a number of practical mx5 ireland off the w3eb, hs anyone had any dealings with them? are they good? thats about it for now. looking forward to meegting you all and kick some tires.

thanks in advance

dave and lou :D

You can get headlights fairly cheap from a few places online, Motor factors should be able to get them, you are looking for 7" round H4 headlamps. Wouldn't bother getting sealed units as the output was never great from them. Think I have a sealed unit kicking about somewhere if your really stuck.
