No that's what I thought as well but the thread is clearly under the arch.the tyre might be a little stretched but the rim sticks out a bit il upload a photo later haven't got any on the phone at the moment. Went looking in the Nct manual last night and can't find anything about failing because the tyres are too wide wudnt mind but my fronts are just as big and it's only the back he has a problem with

I'm so pissed off with em they said all four shocks were loose as well.but yet when I looked this morin their all ok. I think when he raises the car the springs drop down because the cars lowered and they look like their loose on the coilover my heads in a heap trying to sort all the crap from em thinking might try test it in another centre

I don't think they really stick out that much

Yea the problem with the wheels are they stick out to much.he the told me all the springs were loose on the car but I went around em all yesterday and cudnt find a problem wit them at all . Wudnt mind when I removed the two back wheels the inside of them were nearly bald from the camber in the car and the sidewall was cracking and he never even seen that

they will fail you if the springs are loose when the car is up anywhere man.. just wind the adjusters up until the springs are tight and get a set of standard wheels from somewhere. they can be your ''nct wheel''.. i know a man in limerick who has loads of standard wheels with tyres
