Looking for a 1.6 enine with or without gear box. Only willing to swap for a 1.6 auto with or without gearbox with 93000km on it. I'm not sure but I think the auto engine can be good for a turbo build. The cam shafts are different to provide more torque at lower rpm. Might suit someone here.

The auto engine has a few different bits on the intake manifold and has no flywheel. Not a big deal but i looking to do a complete engine rebuild with everything finished and then change it out. The other thing is the auto engine dosent give the same performance at higher rpm.

Hello Alan ,I have a 1.6 engine, can give you the intake manifold and fly weel if that helps you , no charge.
What about going up to a 1.8 ? I'm sure robert has plenty of these.
Either way hope you get sorted ,are you buliding another mx5 ?

Hi Brian. That sounds great. I'm sure I'll find one or two bits around the shed to trade with you! Any plans on getting the aircon in? Hope to fix the car up and make the next cars and coffee in Limerick. Chat to you about it then if ur there.
Thanks again
