ah now dont be like that .. karma
i know she is paying for it but she is like myself skint (living is a s#!thole kinda)

i dont want to take it to a body shop cause they will have to spray the car and that is the last resort

would like an original classic red door and panel you know ?

Better to get good bodyshop to match existing colour .any spray painter that is any good will match red exactly by tinting it .As I explained to you earlier parts from another red car may not match exactly despite the paint code. Also usedvpanels may have already be painted.

Hi James,
When I bought my (slate grey metallic) NB it had been keyed the full length of the drivers side. I brought it to a guy I have used before here in Cork for repair as I knew his work. I challenge anyone to spot the areas resprayed. You will never get a perfect match using second hand panels, especially in red. Good second hand panels that don't require any filling and just a respray is what I would be recommending.

avoid the guy who said he will lacquer it

SU red is your paint code and does not need a lacquer , if he thinks it does......well...errrr....DERP
