Hi, I'm looking for a nice mx5. Not bothered so much about year. Has to be in good condition mk1 1.6 or 1.8 mk1 or mk2. If it has a hardtop that would be great. And not in gold or red.

hi knight,jay here,i might be selling a 94 black s spec 1.8 mk1.

she is in exellent condition,runs well with alot of modifications.

she s spec so has torsens lsd,close ratio box,alloy bonnet and boot lid etc.

she has added items such as arc induction kit,apeix filter,variable cam pulleys,strut braces on top and underneith.

adjustable shocks,lowered etc

car looks great and looks standard on a set of daisy wheels.

inside also exellent,nardi wheel,gear knob etc drives well with no bangs or rattles,drives as if its on rails.

roof ok,well good bar damage to passanger side,cut that has been patched.

nct and tax have lapsed,has been stored for last 18months,but has been driven on a weekly bases.

worth a look.

jap import into ireland,so zero rust,everything works,and went into storage with nct and tax on it.

garaged due to house move.

Lovely wine mk2 in the for sale section, I'm not sure if burgundy falls into your definition of red though.

I have a wine [merlot ] mk1 myself but have been looking at the wine [icon] mk2 in for sale, really nice looking car would really like one but cant have 2 mx5,s according to the wife!!
Worth a look i'd say where you based? The car is in Limerick and NO it's not red

Sorry Burgundy not really my colour. Prefer silver or black. All to do with my Mrs. If she doesn't like the colour she wont get on the car!
