Hello Paul
looks like a very good roll bar but im more looking for the type that fits onto rear parcel shelf fitted down to the chassis ,I just think you could hit your head on one of those bars ,that's ok if your wearing a helmet but don't plan to do much tracking with this car .
thanks for your reply
Brian

this is the cage before it was removed

it sits a good bit back from your head , so its not the same as the usual carbing, safety21 type bars
in the first pic i posted you can see the main hoop has a rear ward bend in the main bar to tilt the main hoop back

no worries though, try tr lane or import a harddog from the states directly

Thanks Alan
I think I seen this on nutz before, not sure if it met with much approval .
John, I could be talked into a tr lane group buy as they seem to be more like what I'm looking for.
Robert knows of a man in Dublin that fabricates cages, I wonder if he would be interested in a run of bars similar to the tr lane/hard dog bars
Thanks for the replies lads
Brian

There is a guy here in Newbridge who fabricates cages for the drifting and touring cars that compete in national competition..might be worth enquiring from him for a cost on a simple roll bar structure as opposed to a full cage-type which is not really practical..as well as expensive. Leave it with me, I'll get to him some time soon...
