Hello Lucas
There is a chap on nutz at the minute looking at doing a group buy for frame rails and a butterfly brace , I think he is from Slovakia !
I'll send on the link , I'm considering the butterfly brace myself

Good find here, Steve! Good value, made by boss frog + fixings! Can't beat this imo.

Hello Lucas
I'm thinking about it all right. ! , I have the P5 frame rails fitted to the mk2 so if I get the butter fly I'll need to match the frame rail fixings to the BB . The seller tells me that they will supply the BB with no fixing holes and I drill them to suit the P5 FR which suit me and a lot of other people on the site.
The seller on nutz is also selling "extra stiff frame rails" at the minute to suit there own BB . I think the all in price will be something like £300 ,FR+BB but there not sure yet . They look very similar to the flyin miata set up .
Steve got some made up before and I had that set on the merlot , made a big difference ! The s ltd also came with them.
Scallan will probibly still be the best price as your not talking about sterling but if the nutz items go ahead and your interested in them let me know and we might be able to do a deal on shipping

Hi Brian, you are a legend
thanks a lot for that info, for now I'm going to wait for Scallan and see what he can get, I would love to go for a FR + BB but 300£+ is bit much for my budget now, I like that those rails got that extra bend on them tho, it looks like it make them even stiffer.

ps. does those rails make that much difference ? I heard good things about them.

ps. to All excuse my language if I make a awful mistake, english is not my native , still learning ;)

cheers

Yes Lucas I think that they made a big difference to my old mk1 , the car seemed to be more comfortable , handle better and a lot of the Scuttle shake and noise was gone , also even though they weigh a bit as Steve told me the weight is low down and in the centre so not as big a deal , lastly they really protect the rails from Damege and the car can now be jacked on the rails without them deforming !
Happy days
Brian
