I assume it just does the same job as the bog-standard one? or does it have performance implications?

this is for a mk1 1.6

i have a few of these for mk1 1.8's and a mk2 1.8
also got the matching mk1 arc super induction airbox aswell

8)

they dont add much power per se , they do change the torque delivery of the car tho , which makes them quite nice additions
