Hello everyone from the Stelvio pass! Now the drive downhill to Italy. Fantastic trip, no motorways, worth the drive if you'd ever think about it. :-)

It was busy but OK although no space for any "spirited" driving - campers, bikes, cyclists etc.

any chance you'd share your route ?? im going there next month 7 looking for ideas, did the stelvio in 2013 on a bike, great pass

Sorry for such a late reply, once I hit the coast I was offline for a while. I find Google Maps does pretty good routes when set to avoid tolls and/or motorways (through France just setting it to avoid tolls is good as they have some older motorways which are not in much use and are free). I'll upload some more photos and a route for anyone planning similar trip next year.
