![]() Re: Car seats...mmmmm Fancy, are you going to get it covered in leather?
I've another bit to go before i'm that far on. Anyway the Mrs will be looking up the baby forums to find out. I'll have nothing to do with it, i'm still having trouble putting the other seat into the car after 8 months.
Re: Car seats...My view on baby seats is that they got to be yeah, safe, and install easy, but easy to strip down and wash (fire the cover in the washing machine), because they will get dirty and if milk for example gets spilled (and it will), it'll stink and being easily washable is a real + for us anyways. We've 2 stigs, sorry kids and have about 6 car seats, 1 for the Jeep for Jack, 1 for the 5 for Jack, 1 for the Jeep for Moll, 1 for our childminders car for Moll, a booster seat for Jack of one of his friends if they come over and we need to go somewhere and take em etc....and then there's another one in Jack's Grannies car so he can go swimming with her! I could sell em on Ebay at this stage. ![]() ![]()
![]() Re: Car seats...So what your saying Oliie seems to be, if anyone ever does you a favour they have to drive around with a baby seat in the car forever.
It's a big price to pay. Where would I put my shopping? Can't see the dog being too happy either.
![]() Re: Car seats...i was thinking he was very unlucky, that people kept stealing them on him.
The Stig....some say he offers you a baby seat when you go to his house not a cup of tea
Re: Car seats...
lol........
and now we have see what the 10 year old porsche will do on our track,.................some say he drives a french pink coupe to project a hairdressers image and that he recently went to dip the boxters engine for oil and would up pulling out the who fucking engine, but all we know is, he's called IVAN! ![]() ![]()
![]() Re: Car seats...Any views on the passenger airbag and using baby seat?
I have read about disconnecting this or fitting a switch to disable it... Will shortly be wanting to take my new grandson round and about and will want to get a car seat for occasional use. Might need a boot rack for a buggy also.... But what is the accepted wisdom about being able to disable the airbag for a rearward facing baby seat? I would sure as hell want to be the safest possible carrying precious cargo.... John C
