Where to get replacement roof

Postby rockdrummer4 » Sat, 11 Dec 2010 2:22 +0000

Hi,

My roof got slashed last night :( So need to get replacement, hopefully get it done through insurance. Have been looking around, what do ya think of these guys:

http://www.carhoodsireland.ie/

or

nolanautocare.ie

The first one is quite expensive but if done thru the insurance and also they come out to me, makes it easier ! Im in north Dublin...

Thanks..

Have heard of Nolans before, with good reports. Haven't heard of the first crowd.

How much?? Bet it'll be a crazy price as the insurance is gonna foot the bill.

1200 euro - mohair fitted and come to my place

The nolan one starting from 750 + VAT - so id say they would be the same - starting from means vinyl + plastic window etc .....

How badly damaged? If you end up having to pay out of your own pocket, get Nolans to temporarily repair the roof and consider taking a trip to Smyths Trimmers in Swansea at a later stage...may be an option?

Where to get replacement roof

Hi, I recommend to buy a roof and give me a bell. There are numerous members in the club who have fitted roofs. I've fitted 6 now and master it in 3 hours.
Ps a mohair should not cost you more then €600 and you can fit it yourself. I don't know how that carshoodsireland are surviving as they're a Total rip off, but as long as silly people keep paying they keep existing... How can they get away with charging €200/hr for labour?!?
