hmm not really ash. I would alaways advise speaking to a contractor for most cost effective way to fix the problem.
Thermal image identifies 99.9% of the problem areas and allows you to cost effectively target the areas
I was a project manager for several years and i used these to make sure our retail units were with spec etc
The thermal image shows any anomalies in the structure through temperature differences. In most cases its easy to resolve , some times it takes a little further investigation.
Some of the walls i have scanned on a few new build properties have been missing insulation in several places...scary really what the thermal cam shows up, Windows not installed correctly, outside heating boilers with no lagging on pipes underground, radiators with several cold spots due to blocked passages and build up of sludge etc
My brothers house in only 3 years old and i scanned it last week for him>>>>i was able to give him enough evidence to go back to the builder to have remedial work arranged FOC as the property wasnt to spec.
