For those that may think this is a 'nice' predator bird check out the following links....

Heron eats another RAT ... even the Raptors don't like him there !

Get a plaastic Heron and stick it beside the pond - herons are teritorial and won't land where they see another one. It'll save you a few yo-yos on new fish. If you want a few give me a shout I have apond with about 100 in it - started out with six and they multiplied

Can't use my plastic Heron in March/April as it's mating season - it will only ATTRACT the Herons dude :lol:

Sounds like a good idea, to much 'red tape' though !

Since our 15.5 year old Bearded Border Collie died last month ( :cry:

) we now appear to have THREE cats, a heron and these two little guys RUNNING FREE....

I don't mind the peanut raids as it's sort of funny seeing them doing it and they are harmless :mrgreen:

But as for my Koi :twisted:

(edit) These are not rats, they are 2" Field Mice - watch for the 'Face Plant Into The Water Dish' at 03:20 :lol:
