We have a grumpy old farmer coming into town on it . The bloody thing does keep going, and the bike also. This ol' fella drives it 365 days a year dressed in a navy rain suit adn one of those 1/2 white helmets with the black leather, getting his loaf of bread, butter and eggs. It's just funny and adorable, not cool. That's my penny

I'm with the Vespa gang on this. Dublin scooter club been coming to Clare more or less annually since I was a kid - great to see them all together (1-200 usually) - for those wanting that real Brighton Rock atmosphere ...

I looked seriously into importing a 1960's Lambretta from Vietnam about 18 months ago. THe restoration jobs look the business, unfortunately the reports from people who had bought from such sources were awful.

Many are made from bits of frames bodged together and have a tendency to break in half for example. Looked into buying an old banger and doing it up in my shed but by the time you buy all the bits it seemed a bit too pricey.

Next step was buy a half decent one from UK or Italy but now that we are all poor again I can't justify spending cash on 'toys'

I actually have a really really old Honda 50 in my garage, it even has the really really old reg papers made out of that brown cardboard stuff from 'long ago'
I never drove it on the road, I only drive sports bikes over 900cc......'touring' bikes are to lame.
It's been in the garage for the last 4 years but I know if I went out tomorrow it would start within 5 minutes.
