MX5Ireland

Hey i've been on this site for a couple of months i currently own an mx5, i found another one that interested me. same model as my own mk1 the only thing is the whole car is rotted with rust. should i buy it or leave it off, was hoping to salvage the engine out of it. how much should i pay for it too cos i don't have a clue about how much there worth??

Assuming the engine is a good one...€200...€250 would be my guess. Anyone else??? You would probably get half that back in scrap metal value afterwards.

id say just 3 or 400 at the most if you were just going to use the engine, is there anything else you could salvage off it like alloys/interior bits etc?(might be worth more then), and like john said you could make some money back from scrapping whats left too or even selling other bits off it
