Importing Vintage Cars

Postby rhysmate » Tue, 03 Sep 2013 8:50 +0000

I have an old Ford in the garage at home that was never registered over here, and we have no log book for it.

What are the chances of registering it now? how would we go about it? We have the plates but the book is long gone

Contact the relevant UK authorities?? They should be able to provide documentation.

What's the age and model? I am about to take delivery of my new project (and v old car) on Saturday. Perhaps we can start a new thread. Details and photos after Saturday!

Get your paperwork done in the next few weeks, I have three motorbikes to sort out. Luckily the car I am buying just needs a change of ownership and I then have 10 days to register it off the road. Still it's all paperwork and must be done before the end of the month! paulc
