Sorry to hear that your in hospital hope your ok.
The emissions could be lots of things but start with a good service and a good old school mechanic

Sorry to hear your in hospital hopefully it won't be for long.

As for the emissions I'd second Johns suggestion. I've used it before and it great for pre NCT/Doe.

The chap that looks after the car for me is going take a look at this week he should sort it put so hopefully ill be back behind the wheel soon

One mark for ten litres. So what's the mazda 45 litres or something so fill her up and pour the 50cl into her then drive her hard for an hour before NCT.

I normally add a generous amount to the fuel....just to be sure and then a good high rev spin after it. :wink: :D

happy days passed retest today .put in dipetane put on the orignal air filter[just in case] it flew through, but i suspect it should not have failed in the first place.when i get some one to post the test sheets i will ,last time the engine/oil temp read 0 c. i suspect they tested it when the engine was cold. which would account for the huge differance in readings,im really happy it passed,it caused me a lot of worry and expense ,anyway i can look forward to another year of happy motoring roll on the fine weather i was in hospital for two weeks getting my own mot, i passed that as well.thank you for your good wishes
