Postby james » Tue, 29 Aug 2017 9:40 +0000

Is there anyone in Ireland fabricating mounts/brackets for this setup.

From one of their video posts
"£320 without pulleys and £360 with pulleys.
Cars without power steering require a third pulley £370.
Cast Inlets in stock £170
Cast Outlets in stock £230"

Is your heart set on a supercharger? From what I can see there's probably more turboed 5's out there , so therefore it should be easier or cheaper to pick up the necessary parts and info..Warning..I could be wrong :)

John

PS You still joining me in Mondello tomorrow?..you can give my turbo job the once over!!! :)

Not set on either yet but have been researching SC finding out prices ETC. It'll be around €1400 minium and the brackets, mounts are a third of that! (€500 +)

Turbo lag VS super charger whine.
I don't want much more power TBH maybe 50/70hp.

Looking forward to tomorrow.

£800 sounds very expensive! Think seen drawings for blanking plate, bracket, flange etc. somewhere on the net. I've spare tensioner if you want.

Tr lane kits were popular. Maybe cheaper too.

There's a lad in the UK that will fabricate/supply...

Inlet
Outlet
Mount
Tensioner
New Pulleys
Bypass valve
Throttle body
Inlet/outlet silicone hose

€500 approximately
